Self-Assessment Checklist
After writing each email, check it against this list:
- Subject line is specific and professional
- Greeting uses the person's name
- First sentence states the purpose clearly
- Body is concise (under 200 words)
- Tone is professional but warm
- No text speak, slang, or emojis
- Ends with a clear call to action
- Sign-off includes full name and contact details
- Proofread — no spelling or grammar errors
